NFL Network on Samsung Smart TV

The NFL needs no introduction as it is one of the most popular football leagues that people worldwide watch. Watching a football match on your big Samsung Smart TV would give you another level of experience, but if you can’t watch it?

The NFL application is available on Samsung Smart TVs, but it is only available in those built-in in 2016 or after that. If you have a Samsung Smart TV built this year, you will have a native application of NFL, but if you don’t, you will have to try alternatives that we will mention at the end of this article.

NFL Network on Samsung Smart TV

If you have a native application of NFL on your Samsung Smart TV, you will have to purchase a game pass subscription that is available at different prices. You can follow the steps mentioned below to do the same.

Step 1: if you do not have a subscription pass for an NFL game, you will have to create a user account and sign up to avail of a subscription. You can do this on your mobile phone before jumping onto your Samsung Smart TV.

There are different subscription plans which include a free account that does not come with a lot of features, then there is an essential account that comes with seven days free trial and at a price of around $38, and then there is a premium account that comes at the cost of $125.

Step 2: When you have a subscription plan, switch on your Samsung Smart TV and make sure it is connected to the internet connection. You have to go to the Samsung Smart hub button on your remote control.

Step 3: When you press the smart hub button, you will see plenty of applications will appear on your Samsung Smart TV from where you have to look for the NFL app.

Step 4: After that, tap on the download button, and once the app is downloaded, you can find it on the home screen in the apps section.

Step 5: The last step is straightforward. Now you can open the NFL app on your Samsung Smart TV, enter the credentials to log in to your subscription account and watch the live stream of your favorite teams playing football.

NFL Network on Samsung Smart TV (Older Models)

If you do not have a Samsung Smart TV built-in 2016, and after that, you won’t be able to find the NFL app in the app store. Try the alternative methods mentioned below to get the NFL network on your older version of the Samsung Smart TV.

Amazon FireStick

NFL is available on the Amazon app store. Therefore, you can use the Amazon fire stick to get the NFL network on your Samsung Smart TV or any other television where you cannot find this network.

In this, all you have to do is to connect Firestick to your Samsung Smart TV and then go to the search icon to look for NFL. When you find it click on the download button, and once it is downloaded, you can log in with your credentials and watch NFL live streams.

Chromecast

Chromecast is one of the most popular alternatives used to get a particular application or software mirrored from one device to another. To use the Chromecast alternative, you must have the NFL game pass app on your mobile phone.

Firstly you have to ensure that your Samsung Smart TV Chromecast and smartphone are connected to the same Wi-Fi connection. When you have to connect your Chromecast with your smartphone, you can use the Google Home app.

Then play your favorite stream on your smartphone and then tap on the cast icon that you will find on the top right corner of the interface. You can select the Chromecast device from the cast icon and enjoy NFL on your Samsung Smart TV.

Wrap Up

These are the only possible ways to get the NFL network on your Samsung Smart TV. Roku is another alternative that you can try. Watching the NFL network is easier for the people who have the Samsung Smart TV series of the recent model, but even if you do not have a current model, you can watch your favorite football league on a big screen.
