How to Block Youtube Ads on LG Smart TV

Trying to block YouTube ads on LG Smart TV is not a new thing. This is due to the fact that most people want to enjoy their favorite YouTube channels without being disturbed by annoying advertisements.

We all know that YouTube is one of the most popular sites in the world, and there are a lot of reasons for that. You can watch millions of videos of your favorite TV shows, movies, and music videos, but you can also upload your own videos. If you want to block ads on LG Smart TV, then you’re in the right place!

The problem with YouTube ads is that they can be really irritating. In fact, sometimes they can be downright offensive.

Since smart TVs are mostly used for family entertainment, you might not want to constantly annoy your kids and family members with unrelated ads that incessantly appear on your screen when streaming your favorite shows.

The good news is, there’s a fix for this. When you are watching “free” movies on YouTube, YouTube runs advertisements to keep the site running.

If you’re watching a full-length movie, there can be up to 10-15 minutes of ads. This can be very annoying and time consuming.

There are many ways you can do this and in this article, I will be showing you how to block YouTube ads on LG Smart TV for free without spending a dime.

You can get your YouTube Premium account without paying a single cent or watching any commercials if you follow these steps:

Step 2: Open Premium or go to https://www.youtube.com/premium/ on your web browser

Step 3: Click On Start Free Trial

Step 4: Log in with your Gmail or create a new account

Step 5: Enter your billing information and click start premium

Step 6: Return to your LG Smart TV and launch YouTube

Step 7: Sign in to YouTube using the same Gmail

Step 8: Start streaming YouTube

If you love YouTube, you’ll want YouTube Premium because it gives an ad-free experience when watching on the platform.

If you’ve diligently followed every step above, you should be able to block YouTube ads on your LG smart TV.

Your YouTube Premium free trial would end in 30 days. Google would automatically notify you 7 days ahead of your billing date. After the 30 days free trial, you’ll be charged $12 per month as the normal YouTube Premium subscription plan.

YouTube also has other plans that allow you to share access with family members and you can also opt for the student package.

However, with your Gmail account, you can log in to multiple devices and stream videos without seeing ads, as far as your Premium is still active.
